Our company, under the name “Attika Meat Voudouris – Konstas S.A.”, has been active in the Greek market since 1971. To date, it has managed to emerge as a trend- and price-setter in the industry, as well as to form an inextricable bond with consistency, reliability and competitive prices.
The first steps
Starting from the Rentis central meat market with just one physical store, under the initial name “Voudouris – Konstas S.A.”, the company has since then managed to gain the leading position in the processing and trading of fresh and frozen meat. In fact, its development has been so rapid that in just a few years it has expanded from one store to a total of six.
The progress continued in 1998 when the need for industrial activity, combined with the arrival of the younger generation into the company’s administration board, led to the establishment of a new branch in Peania, now under the name “Attika Meat S.A.”.
The two companies merged under the name “Attika Meat Voudouris – Konstas S.A.” and relocated to a new site, the current operating premises in Moschato, Attica. Having adopted a model of continuous development and modernization, these new facilities operate as a vertical meat processing plant with standardization, storage, logistics, freezing and sales departments.
The prosperous course of the company dictated the expansion of its facilities to cover its operational needs. This expansion involves the purchase of an additional 6 acres near the existing facilities, in order for the company to enter the prepared foods sector and further expand its freezer space.
In the context of a stable and long-lasting course, this sustainable growth is the result of the experience and diligence of its shareholders, the support of its customers and the constant effort of its employees.
